Professional Background

Born in 1957, he was trained to be a radio and television technician, afterwards he studied physics at the University of Münster (Germany) with nuclear physics as a major; he was trained to be a patent engineer in the Siemens AG, where he was primarily concerned with nuclear and fossil power-plant engineering as well as with process-control technique. He has been working as a self-employed patent attorney since 2004.
